On the occasion of Dr. Brandie Smith (Director of the Smithsonian's National Zoo in Washington, D.C., and Conservation Biology Institute in Front Royal, Virginia) giving a seminar "Giant Pandas - What it Takes to Save an Endangered Species," April 21, 2023, and receiving IUP's Distinguished Alumni Award the next day. She requested the presence of her IUP mentors.
